Lidia qualified as a Dental Hygienist in New York, USA. She completed a BS degree in Health Education and Promotion and obtained a MS degree in Dental Hygiene Education. She served as a faculty member in the dental hygiene program at the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut.

She has extensive experience treating periodontal disease and her focus is ensuring that patients understand the cause(s) of oral diseases. An important part of patient care is the integration of the Humanistic Learning Theory which empowers patients with the attitude and skills needed to achieve and maintain oral health.

Lidia worked in various dental surgeries in the US providing care to adults, children and the older generation and continues to care for patients in the UK. Lidia is very empathetic towards the fearful dental patient and her aim with children is to make sure they have a positive and fun experience.

She is an active member and current Treasurer of the British Society of Dental Hygiene and Therapists (BSDHT) and member of the British Society of Periodontology (BSP).

In her spare time, Lidia enjoys long walks with her dog and family,  murder-mysteries and swimming.
