Why Patients Choose Behrens Dental Practice

Expert Care

Our team includes dentists with expertise in periodontics, implants, orthodontics, aesthetic dentistry and endodontics, so you get expert care without needing a referral to another practice.

Three Generations of Excellence

Choosing a dental practice is a significant decision. We earn your trust through experience, equipment and how we work. We use high‑powered microscopes for precise diagnostics, and we developed the Duo‑Lase™ protocol for gum disease here.

Whether you are near Wimbledon Village, out by Wimbledon Park, or closer to South Wimbledon, we are a direct journey away. The District Line runs from Wimbledon straight to South Kensington in roughly 30 to 35 minutes, and we are a short walk from the station. There is on‑street parking nearby if you drive. Our opening hours include early mornings from 8am, evenings until 8pm (Tue–Thu), and Saturday appointments.

Costs and Financing

We believe in transparent pricing, so you get a detailed written breakdown of costs before any treatment begins. 0% APR finance may be available on selected treatments, letting you spread the cost into manageable payments rather than meeting it all at once.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

How long do dental implants take?

Usually a few months from consultation to the final crown. Most of that is healing time, while the implant fuses with the jawbone — that is what makes it last. Every case differs, so Dr. Behrens will give you a realistic timeline at your consultation rather than a standard answer.

What is the difference between a general dentist and a periodontist?

A general dentist manages your overall oral health — check‑ups, fillings, crowns. A periodontist has completed several additional years of training in diagnosing, preventing and treating gum disease, and in placing implants. Our practice has clinicians with a special interest in periodontics, so your gums are looked after by someone who works on them daily.

How do I know if I should see someone about my gums?

Bleeding gums when you brush, persistent bad breath, gums that have receded, or teeth that feel loose — any of those is worth an expert opinion. They are common signs of gum disease, and early treatment prevents far more serious problems later. We will give you a full evaluation rather than a guess.

Is it difficult to get here from Wimbledon?

It is a direct journey, which is the main thing. The District Line runs from Wimbledon station straight to South Kensington in about 30 to 35 minutes, no changes, and we are a few minutes’ walk from the station. Our evening and Saturday appointments mean the trip does not have to come out of your working day.
